We're often asked, what should an onboarding experience include? Now if you've seen top tips number four and number seven, you'll know a lot of your ideas can come from your own people, but my next few videos will guide you through some of the key stages in your onboarding timeline and what they should include. And my first Is a great big warm welcome as soon as your new hire as accepted your job offer. It's critical that you prove to them. They've made the right choice. Congrats from the business their line manager their recruiter buddy or even people they've met through the interview process is a fabulous place to start perhaps. They're invited to an onboarding portal where all of this happens in the same place or a scent of physical pack so they can receive something in the post. Either way it pays to make a really good first impression. What's also key here is that there are lots of positive moments to bounce out the reams of forms.
