Welcome to Top Tip #30
Video transcript
And tip number 30 is crucial for future performers and social mobility. Rather than spending time giving you starters information on your business, give them information on how you do business. Understanding and learning about how your business works day to day, team to team, person to person, how it really gets s**t done is going to be advantageous to any new starter. But for emerging talent for whom this is likely their first real job, it will help them more easily make that tricky transition from study to work. This has many positive benefits for social mobility too, helping students from every background to arrive on day one with the same level of knowledge and experience, which can only be a good thing.
