I'm back once again with another onboarding top tip and my final one focusing on line managers. If you're looking for them to take ownership of onboarding, my next top tip is to recognize and share great examples of great onboarding internally. Some managers will be naturally better at onboarding than others or simply want to deliver a better experience. Sharing their stories, recognizing their achievements, and the results of their hard work is a great way to encourage others to do the same. One of our clients does this through a simple video interview with a few of their better-performing line managers each quarter. Another creates a regular case study for each business area, then adds it as personalized content to their line managers' area of Eli for peers to read. However you do it, sharing success stories like these is a quick and easy way to win over other line managers and build a better onboarding experience for all.
